Hose barb to be used with 1/4" inside diameter hoses secured with a proper hose clamp. 

1/8" NPT male threaded end with a hex nut style fitting to tighten into the regulator. 

Pipe tape is not needed, we assure a gas tight seal when hose barb is tightened firmly, but not over tightened.
